Maplewood Area Historical Society

The Maplewood Area Historical Society was incorporated as a non-profit 501(c)3 in 1997 to preserve and interpret the history of Maplewood through collections, events, exhibits, and programs. Most of our events, exhibits, and meetings are at the Bruentrup Heritage Farm but we also sponsor tours, talks, and other programs offsite.

Donating Historic Items to Maplewood Area Historical Society
Maplewood Area Historical Society (MAHS) is a trusted repository and research center for Maplewood area history and we welcome donations of historic items related to the history of Maplewood, its preceding governance by New Canada and McLean Townships, and the Bruentrup Heritage Farm. We are especially interested in photographs and we will gladly scan them for our archives and return the originals to you.

If you have an item you wish to donate, please contact us with a description and/or photo of the item. We will respond and advise you on how to proceed. Please do not deliver the item until we respond to your request. Because of our limited space, we do not accept all items that you may wish to donate so please give us some time to evaluate your request.
