Big, Little Monster • 4PM

BIG, LITTLE MONSTER  (a one-hour musical for children)

WHO:
Performed by Bucket Brigade; Presented by Bucket Brigade and the Maplewood Area Historical Society

WHAT:
See a show in a barn! Families can see the high-energy children’s musical, Big, Little Monster, in the historic barn at the Bruentrup Heritage Farm, enjoy yummy fall treats for sale, and take in activities around the farmyard. Do a scavenger hunt, learn how an old-fashioned apple cider press works – and more. Plus, children who wear a Halloween costume will get a free treat bag (from a safely-distanced volunteer)! Dress warmly for weather and please observe COVID requirements: When outdoors, observe 6’ social distancing or wear a mask. When indoors, wear a mask at all times.

SHOW DESCRIPTION:
All humans know that monsters are scary, but a lesser-known fact is that monsters are never, EVER, scared. Then why is Jr. Monster afraid for his first day of Fright School? And can he find the courage to dare what no monster has ever dared? Big, Little Monster is a reminder to all of us struggling with fear and anxiety that we’re not alone.
